About Us

Workforce Development Through Partnership

ConxusNEO is working to build a talent pipeline that supplies local employers with access to the right talent, at the right time, and in the right place; where both companies and all residents share in economic prosperity.

Workforce Development Through Partnership

Our role is to convene employers, educators, workforce programs, economic development, and community-based organizations to make that vision a sustainable reality.   Our work is based on the supply chain management model where workforce system strategies are innovated among partners to deliver the in-demand skills local companies need as the ultimate end-users in the supply chain.  As collaboration evolves, partners across the talent supply chain experience shared value.  Educators and workforce training programs are better able to align curriculum with in-demand skills, economic development efforts can benefit from more strategic workforce assets, and community-based organizations can leverage relationships and a variety of program partners to recruit and support residents in their job preparation efforts.

Acting as the non-profit backbone workforce development organization in our community, we bring together major stakeholders to perform six major functions:

  1. Guide our Community’s Vision & Strategy
  2. Support Aligned Activities
  3. Establish Shared Measurement
  4. Build Public Will
  5. Advance Policy
  6. Mobilize Funding

In Summit County, Ohio, ConxusNEO brings together and works through three Industry Sector Partnerships that include over 200 employers, educational and training entities, public workforce and governmental agencies and community-based organizations. Together we are building a sustainable, effective, and efficient ecosystem that will supply skilled talent to the industries that drive our regional economy: manufacturing, information technology and healthcare.
